Well, here we go.
This idea seems to be becoming more and more popular each year. I'm jumping on the bandwagon, and attempting to read 52 books in 2013.
Thanks to a dear friend, I have lots and lots of books on my iBooks library! Plus, the San Diego public library checks out e-books. I have yet to try it out, but it seems like a good idea. I'm going to peruse the "Farge Library" here in Sacramento before we head back to San Diego.
I love reading on my iPad; however, at school, I prefer real books since I don't let my students read on their iPads!
On a side note, I made a "reading center" in my classroom. I intend to share my reading adventures with my students, and recommend my favorite books to them. I hope to inspire the kids to read more for fun!
